Live Beta privacy

This notice describes baseline privacy handling for Live Beta and Free Access use on e-scm.org. It may be supplemented by signed data-processing terms for production customers.
We may process account data, company details, user roles, emails, phone numbers, support messages, eCMR records, signatures, attachments, uploaded PDFs and images, OCR extraction results, TruckSim cargo manifests, API payloads, billing references, security logs, and usage events.
Salary-survey storage is separate from public publication, and all public survey routes are disabled unless the operator explicitly enables them after a privacy review. When enabled, the survey stores profession, education and experience bands, position level, company-size band, region, salary and bonus figures, selected skills and benefits, and optional free text. A browser-local marker is transformed with a keyed one-way digest before storage, but it is not verified identity, does not prevent repeat submissions, and does not make a response anonymous. Aggregate output uses cohort suppression and rounded salary averages; these controls reduce direct disclosure risk but are not an anonymity guarantee.
Data is used to provide the platform, authenticate users, operate eCMR workflows, run AI-assisted eCMR/OCR/TruckSim features, maintain audit trails, support beta operations, secure the service, improve reliability, and communicate about accounts, upgrades, or support.
AI and OCR features may send selected text, files, or structured fields to configured AI providers or platform-managed services for extraction, mapping, summarization, or load analysis. Customers should avoid uploading unnecessary personal or sensitive data.
We may use infrastructure, email, payment, analytics, OCR, AI, logging, and security providers to operate the service. We do not sell customer freight records. Customer-specific subprocessors can be documented in paid/pro or production agreements.
Retention depends on account status, audit requirements, legal obligations, backup cycles, and commercial terms. Deletion requests can be sent to info@e-scm.org.
We use access controls, authentication, audit records, and operational logging to protect the platform. Users may contact us to request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion where applicable under law and contract.
